The goal of mediation is a win-win situation where both parties can reach an agreement that is fair and reasonable through a process in which each person feels heard.

Not every family situation involves divorce. Attorney Michael McCafferty will assist you in reaching a mutual agreement on issues involving custody, financial support and partnering issues.
About Us
We will help mediate family and/or divorce disputes. We are a qualified and impartial mediator; we value the best interests of any children involved, promoting decision-making through self-determination and assisting in the mediation process by exploring option, encouraging mutual understanding, and focusing on participants’ common interests. We also work with families to heop improve co-parenting and to help resolve conflict within families.
Family and divorce mediation is a process in whichg a mediator, an impartial third part, facilitates the resolution of family disputes by promoting a voluntary agreement between participants. The family mediator assists in communication, encourages understanding, and focuses the participants on their individual and common interests. The family mediator works with the participants to explore options, make decisions, and reach their own agreements.
The mediation process can increase position communication between participants, allow for decision-making through self-determination, promote the best interests of the children, and reduce the conomic costs and emotional stresses associated with dovorce and/or separation.
Effective mediation requires that the family mediator be qualified through training and hands-on experience. Also, the family mediator must be impartial,m allow the participants to reach their decisions voluntarily, be aware of the impact of culture and diversity, consider the best interest of the children and be aware of the safety of all interested parties.
